I am writing this letter to you to let you know how extremely happy we were with every aspect of the move from start to finish. When we first contacted you, you gave us pointers of how to make the move easier for us. I have a "binder" of material with copies of everything we filled out, faxed, mailed, etc. The older couple who first came to pack were two of the most hard working people I have ever met.
Then the 3 gentlemen who finished packing some of the other items and loaded all of our belongings into the container were careful and equally efficient as well as the 3 gentlemen who unloaded the items in Nelson.
Jennifer Helm from Cartwright was top notch. We never had to worry about a thing because she always kept us abreast of what was going on, where our shipment was and what we were to expect next. (Jennifer would even e-mail us just to see how we were!)
We still have more belongings at a storage facility in the states. Rest assured when we decide to move the remainder of our things we will definitely be giving you call. (By the way, nothing was broken or had mildew on it!)

I wanted to take a minute to let you know that one of your employees, Ms. Heather Furst, has been a wonderful help to my family and I the past few weeks as we've moved across the Atlantic and are trying to get settled into our new home in southern Europe.
Sir, my wife and I moved along with our 4 young boys halfway across the globe in January for my military career. You can imagine, I'm sure, what it's like to get a house ready to pack up and move such a long distance. To make things more difficult, just prior to that move, I returned from having been in Afghanistan for a year. Needless to say, it's been a bit of a stressful last 18 months for us. Having our household goods packed up and shipped is part of life for us, but it is not an entirely comfortable experience no matter how often you do it or how far you have it moved.
But our experience with Ms. Furst has reduced our stress tremendously. She has been extraordinarily friendly and helpful every time we've called trying to track our household goods as they make their way to us from Colorado. She has repeatedly offered her assistance above and beyond that which she has already given. She has given us good information, immediately, each time we've contacted her and she always reminds us to "call as often as we'd like" to ask the same questions. She recently went out of her way to contact the local company here in Slovenia to ask questions about our goods on our behalf.
Now THAT is service.

I would whole heartedly recommend Cartwright for any move. We recently had them move us from the U.S. to the U.K. Matt was quick to answer any questions I had throughout the whole process. The two crews that packed our things and later unpacked them were efficient and professional. My things arrived in Mauritius a couple of weeks ago and I've just finished looking through all the boxes. I can't tell you how pleased I am with your company. The men who packed me up were great, courteous and efficient. And the most wonderful thing of all is that not a single thing was broken or damaged. All my items arrived perfectly. It's amazing to me that my belongings, including my glassware, my dishes and many other breakable items, travelled half way around the earth packed in paper. You're men were professionals and obviously very experienced in their jobs. I'm afraid I don't recall their names but I'm hoping that you can look that information up for me and thank them from me. I was worried but I remember the foreman telling me not to worry, that everything was going to be just fine. And it was!
It was also a pleasure meeting Tony. All in all, I must say my relocation experience through Cartwright International was an excellent one. Thanks very much for having helped to make it so.

On behalf of my family, I would like to commend Dawne's assistance with my move. Having endured three moves with the State Department prior to this one (which is my 4th), I can say without fear of contradiction that Dawne Kline has been—without a doubt—the most helpful person I’ve ever dealt with concerning a transitions to a new assignment.
I just wanted to be sure that you were aware that she’s been proactive (by letting me know that the clock was ticking but that she had not yet received the necessary paperwork for my transition from Embassy Moscow), timely in her responses to my emails as well as informative in her guidance on what I need to do next. Do me a favor and clone her. From where I’m sitting, Dawne has been great to work with.
Granted, the things I’ve outlined here are simple tasks, but they have made a huge difference (compared to my previous moves) for my peace of mind.
This has been especially reassuring to me because as we awaited the arrival of our effects, we had the added stress of my departure for service in Iraq before our belongings arrived in the U.S. Hence, my wife had to be the main pillar for overseeing the move - not just getting our home ready to receive our belongings, but also track their whereabouts. And in this latter matter, Justin’s assistance – always delivered in an unfailingly polite and prompt matter – was paramount.
For example, when we were concerned about the delayed arrival of our POV, Justin was not only able to track the vehicle down, but arranged for direct delivery of our car from the port to our home, bypassing at least one intermediary stop. My wife had the car promptly, easing one concern in a time of the many concerns inherent in any move. The fact that she had one less stressor certainly was a relief not only for her, but for me over here, knowing her life was being made a bit easier. And for that I am very grateful to Justin and Cartwright. You are fortunate to have him on your staff.
